The Germans over engineer everything. Thad had a transmission that didn’t have a separate fill plug. You filled the transmission from the bottom drain plug. It was some kind of tube within a tube setup. When the fluid reached the top of the inside tube, it overflowed to the outside tube which indicated the transmission was full. Now, with the transmission full and fluid dripping all over you, you had to reach for the drain plug while taking your fluid fill hose out and even more fluid raining on you, thread the drain plug in. If you drop the plug, you waste a ton of expensive fluid. Why does it have to be this hard?
