New Ram orders, when, where and share what you know

I ordered a Rebel GT on 2/4/22. When they emailed me the build sheet with the VIN it says it has an estimated ship date of 3/15/22. Under status it D1 and says "plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned"

I'm guessing that is a fantasy though.

Most likely, but if not that would be awesome. From my experience there is a definite disconnect between info I’ve received from the dealership and from ram cares. I just pray we both get our trucks soon. What options did you get? That could be why it may be built much quicker

I loaded her up pretty good....Update I received a call from the dealer that they are expecting it to be in sometime during the first two weeks of April.

If your order includes the options that require Microchips

Your order could be delayed, compared to those that did not order them

The only thing that might take longer would be if you ordered a Restricted Paint Color
If you choose a restricted color, 9 other people have to also order that color
The kicker is that all 10 of them have to be built at the same plant.
So all 10 would have to be Classics, or all would have to be 5TH Gens, or all would be HDs
The plant will not load the paint guns for less than 10 vehicles

So some restricted colors never get built & as far as i know, there are only 1 or 2 people keeping track of the numbers & they never tell anyone

Limited 5.7, 4x4, 3.92 axles, 6’4” bed. Surround camera for truck and trailer. Full tow package. Sunroof. Multi function tail gate. 34 gal tank. Adaptive cruise with safety package. NO heads up display nor digital mirror. Supposed to have a ship date now of 2/16

This scares me as I ordered a truck to Idaho falls. It is currently in production.

Thanks to the TheBuilderMan for the tip about Mark Dodge. I ordered my 2500 through Renae. Everything was fairly simple.
Has everyone here that ordered a new truck been required to sign an agreement not to sell the truck for 6 months. Renae said it was required by Stellantis for all new vehicles. That is a first for me. It's not an issue but, I thought it was odd.

Nope, and I am even using a friends and family code. That said, I wouldn’t dream of selling it after ordering exactly what I want and waiting months…

After ordering my truck in August, it is finally built. The build sheet appeared on Thursday and the window sticker showed up today at the links provided earlier in this thread. Now I just have to see how quickly it gets from Saltillo to Nevada.

Does anyone know a website to follow along on the shipping status? Or is that a dealership only capability?

I had to sign one, but as you said, I wouldn't dream of selling it.
