So since I’ve been waiting since November, I asked the dealer if I could add the Dually option for 1495. Im price protected at 68k. When he sent me the updated build sheet, it came out to 74k. He said there’s been an increase in prices for the base truck. So it was a 5k plus the 1500 to add it on. If he left it out, it will still be 68k. Like WTF!!!!

what you posted is the Priced Order Confirmation

You usually receive that within a week of starting to place your order.

Another thing that i noticed is at the very bottom of that page
It looks like a priority 01
( it may be a misprint )

Customer factory orders are priority 99

so i think that what you are going to receive is a Dealership order, that happens to be what you wanted or close to it,
That may be a good thing, it may already be in transit

Not 100% what it means but i got my FFP thru a friend that works in corporate. Maybe he had some pull?

Your VIN is on that sheet

D means that they are checking inventory for the parts needed to build your Ram

If everything is there, Status will go to D1 scheduling

if it was a 1500 model, they come from two to three months from ordering

HD Rams usually take longer, but there is a chance that the Saltillo Mexico assembly plant has stepped up their game

Well, after 6 months of waiting, yesterday was finally the day. Truck arrived at the dealership at 8AM, picked it up at 3PM. Very happy with the truck so far, a big upgrade from my 2013 F150 FX4. Almost a shame to be using it as a personal/work truck!

Similar timeline than snthor above.

-Ordered a 1500 on Dec 11.
-Received a VIN on Dec 24 (email).
-Assembly point Michigan.
-Both equipment list and window sticker were available by January 18th or so.
-Shipped. Latest ETA per factory Feb 6-15. Latest ETA per dealership Feb 10-15.

Looks like they are taking about 2 months from order to shipping (depending on your choices).

Side note: I was going to order the Premium Lightning Group (it was available for the 1500's with a Back Country package on the website then) and the dealership didn't let me because it was not an option anymore. The website removed the option since.

I'm scouring the area looking for 21/22 rebels, 22 Laramie w Southwest package, and also trying to find Big Horn with the Back Country package. I can't seem to find the Big Horn Back Country anywhere including using the Ramtucks vehicle locator??? Is that a mythical unicorn that doesn't really exist? haha

My dealership didn't even know Back Country was a thing when I went to order mine. They had been "out" since July, I went over in December and they had no idea it was a thing.

Apparently they were going to order some after I ordered mine. Supposedly I should be one of the first ones in the area with a Back Country. I believe them though, haven't seen one yet.

There have been steep increases over the last couple months. My 2500 went up about $1200 during that time. I priced a Rubicon 392 in December and it jumped $2700 in just over a month. Looks like Stellantis is cashing in on the hot market, just like most of the dealers are doing.

Hi Everyone. New to the Forum and have been reading much in the background. Thought I’d share my timeline to date.

On order is a 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary. Trailer package, patriot blue, ecodiesel engine, limited level 1 equipment group, and 33 gal gas tank. Yes has the dual sunroof as well—lots of chips I suppose.

Timeline to date:

12/15/21 — order placed
12/29/21 — email from RAM with VIN
1/25/22 — Truck built at Stellantis and build sheet available within 24 hrs
1/27/22 — Window Sticker available
1/28/22 — Had dealer check and should arrive at dealer in next two weeks

UPDATE:

2/4/22 — FCA reporting ETA to dealer 2/8 - 2/24 now. Delay of up to 9 days. No explanation

Update: truck arrived at dealer on 2/7. Picked up and driven home tonight

Save yourself the time and hassle, Mark Dodge in Lake Charles Louisiana. Just email them your build and they will give you a quote, a lot of members here and a ton over on another 5th gen specific ram forum have ordered from them with great results. If you want to know further, just look for that other 5th gen ram forum if you aren't a member already, there is a Mark Dodge specific thread over there.

Never hurts to mention you saw their name on the forums, but generally they quote below invoice (yes invoice, not msrp).

Thanks for the info, I'll be doing this today. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 1500 4x4 Laramie. I'm in FL so that's an easy fly and drive!!

Yeah. My price is protected at 68k. But they said to add the dually option. It would increase the base price by 5k

Well I got my order in yesterday. Also already have a VIN & VON#. Looks like Build Priority 01.
Lets hope that means I'll see my new Baby by June (Fingers-Crossed)!

I placed the order when my wife was 6 weeks pregnant, and now she’s scheduled for delivery first week of March. Wanted to have a bigger truck when the twins got here, but looks like they’ll be here before my Rebel

Ended up being just over a month between when I saw mine was in paint stage (just before Christmas) to getting it 2 weeks ago. So maybe everyone arrives all at the same time.

Dealer just told me that my truck has an estimated start of production of Feb 2nd. Thats with an order date of Dec 8th

Edit; based on the estimated start of build of Feb 2, approximately how long would it take a 2500 to land in Louisiana?
