It's a huge change honestly, you'll never regret it...The new cluster was installed late last week and it’s so much better than the stock speedometer cluster that came with my 21 classic ram.
Does anyone have any suggestions for quality of life improvements on their ram classics?View attachment 572635
Night and day! I actually feel like I’m driving a 21 vehicle now lol. It's a huge change honestly, you'll never regret it...

You'll like the Pedal Commander, it takes away that lag felt when stepping on the gas and makes the truck feel like the pedal is connected to a throttle cable again. If anyone else wants a Pedal Commander I have one I'm going to be selling soon (replaced it with the Banks Pedal Monster at a steal of a price on Craigslist)...Congrats on that successful installation. The premium cluster rocks.
One of the best upgrades I made was ditching the POS incandescent headlight bulbs and installing Fahren LED bulbs. They're less expensive, come with a 3-year replacement warranty and completely light up the road.
Just be sure to choose the low-profile bulbs. There are many threads here on the topic.
Changing the reverse lights and cargo lights in the CHMSL to LED is also a game-changer for driving enjoyment.
I also enjoy tweaking with AlfaOBD. There's a very large thread on that topic here.
I installed this device this morning and expect to enjoy my truck even more.
Heading out to test this soon.

Don't forget to dial it way back down come snow season, LOL.O Ya!
I scooted around the wee local town this afternoon, trying out a few settings.
I started with City +2, stopped very quickly and cranked it up to City +4.
That was fun for a bit and then curiosity forced me to try Sport +2.
Talk about time tripping back to the cabled V8s of the '70s and early '80s.
I'll be spending more time on that Sport setting but I'd best remember to roll that back a bit before my GF hops in.
She's been very chilled with me passing on small rural highways but this might push her a tad out of her comfort zone.
Yes, I'm hooked already.
To anyone contemplating purchasing a unit like this Pedal Commander, stop the deprivation and get one already.

Not sure what steering wheel you have, but when I owned a 2015 Tradesman I swapped in a leather covered steering wheel from a Laramie. It was a great upgrade. I mainly did the swap for the steering wheel mounted radio controls but the leather just feels better than the hard plastic wheel it came with.Does anyone have any suggestions for quality of life improvements on their ram classics?View attachment 572635
I would do it for rain too. It'll make the tires spin very easy in sport.Don't forget to dial it way back down come snow season, LOL.
I use these in all my vehicles. Cheap and easily replaced but the ridges make it very comfortable. Not sure what steering wheel you have, but when I owned a 2015 Tradesman I swapped in a leather covered steering wheel from a Laramie.
