Newbie in need of your help

Truck is going to the shop Friday to have the RXC 6" Lift and adjustable bilsteins installed on the front (wheels and tires too). Anything I should let the shop know so that this setup turns out great. I was going to tell them to set the bilsteins to 1.4 but wasn't sure. I just want to eliminate most of the rake.

Question for you.....
Will you want it higher at some point?
If the answer is yes, I would set it to either 2.1 or max.
But IMO 2.1 with an RC lift is more than fine.

If you do it at 2.1, you will need a 1"- 1.5" rear coil spacer.
This is not expensive at all and easy to do.
Much cheaper than having to take your truck back just for them to remove suspension assembly to change the Bilstein settings and then pay once again for an alignment.

BUT!
If you don't plan on going a tad higher then 1.4 will level you.

I really don't think I will go any higher in the future. My kids are 7, 9, & 11 and I drive them around everywhere so I want to be able to get in and out of the truck fairly easily. I installed the AMP power steps this weekend but I'm afraid I may have to order the extensions once the truck is lifted.

The AMP steps will be fine with your lift.
Jake09 has those on his truck and he has a pretty tall truck.
Maybe he will chime in here....

Yeh buddy sounds like you don't want it too tall and you didn't order rear spacers to compensate for 2.1" or more iift on bilsteins..So just do 1.4" on bilsteins and you'll be good!..You can always raise the shocks up or do a body lift in the future pretty easy if you ever want to..O and yeh btw i have over 7" on my truck with amp steps and its easier to get into than a stock truck

As soon as it's done I'm going to take a look at the flares to see how much more I will need to move out the tires. I will likely post up an photo to get you guys advice. Im assuming based on the above, you are keeping the pocket flares?

Yes, that is the plan. I really don't like any of the other styles. So it will either be the pocket flares or no flares, but I'm really hoping I can make the pocket flares work. I really like the way they look.

You can certainly make them work, but again, you will be slightly tucked under them

Yea, it take about 10 hours give or take plus alignment.

I'm starting to get worried. Just spoke to the shop and they are still not finished (truck has been there since 8 am Friday morning. They said it took longer to put in the bilsteins than expected. They also said if they had to re-adjust the bilsteins they would have to put the truck back on the lift and remove the coil to do so which would be another task. They are hoping it will be level once on the ground. They expect to be done in a few more hours.

My shop had mine done in about 8-9 hours. So def something is wrong or their lack of experience of those Bilsteins is the problem.

I'd go no flares with that offset BUT I know you like those flares and would do the wheels spacers. But I personally wouldn't run the wheels spacers.
You'd probably need atleast 1/2" to make it look good.
Then I'd recommend hub centric wheel adapters.

But let's see what others say

I'd say put them on and then put on wheel spacers. Looks sick either way! You could really use some window tint as well

Regarding the tint, I agree, apparently these are already tinted but not sure if I could go darker or not. I will definitly look into it.

Fast, any idea on the cost of the hub centric wheel spacers 1/2 inch?

I'm pumped with the way it looks, now it just about tweaking things just to my liking.
