Hello all.

I currently drive at 2010 Ram Quad 4X4 Big Horn. My truck is metallic black with chrome accenting. I am looking to add a leveling kit and new wheels/tires to it for SLIGHT off-road use. I would like a mix of black and chrome in my wheels due to the abundance of chrome on the truck. My thoughts are Bilstien 5100 adjustables in the front to level the truck and leaving the stock rear suspension.

For wheels, I am looking at KMC 798 XD Series Addict Wheels with chrome centers and black outers (20X9). I also am looking at RBP 94r's with black inserts. Can anyone give me some insight on offset and backspacing for such? I do not want them to stick out too far as I do not have fender flares.

For tires, I am looking at Toyo Open Country MTs 275/65R20. I have also looked at Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/65R20. Does anyone have any comments, advice, or suggestions for anything different? I want some more beefier rubber but do not want 35s or anything that large.

Any other thoughts, comments, or suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

That is almost exactly what I want to do to my 2012. Level up the front with the Bilstein 5100s, keep the back the same, and go up to 285 70s on tires. I am thinking that is a good choice.

What is anyones thoughts on whether a front end alignment with this change is necessary on a new truck?

Thanks for all the advice.

The XD Addicts are 4.5 backspacing with -12 mm offset or 5.71 backspace and 18 mm offset. The RBPs come in about 10 different offset/backspace combos.

My main concerns are that I want my new tires to look bigger than stock but not huge. I am concerned that the 275/65s may be too close to stock but I haven't seen many too many trucks with nubby off road tires in this size. Conversely, I am concerned that the 295/65s may be too big. I would really like to stick with either of these two tires based on the reviews I have read on these forums, but if anyone has any suggestions (especially a 285/65 tire) please speak up. I also do not want them to stick out very far past the fenders so that rocks, dirt, salt, and all that crud is not thrown up on the side of the truck.

Does anyone know the backspacing on the stock 20X9 wheels?

Does anyone have any suggestions for 285/65R20 tires?

Finally, does anyone have experience with RBP wheels?

Looking at 20x9 XD Addicts with -12MM offset with 275/65R20 Toyo Open Country MT tires. Also looking at the Bilstein adjustable front shocks to level the front out. Does anyone have any experience with these wheels and tires? Any guesses on how far this combo will stick out past the stock fenders? Thanks.
