So Christmas bonuses should be in today, and after savings, wife, kids, etc. I think I'll have about 500 to blow on myself haha, give or take. I know I'm gonna get some new hids from jj, so that's 150ish right there. Just trying to get some ideas. Been thinking about custom badge, our some fancy new lights. Any new cool mods I haven't heard of yet? Throw some suggestions, it's time! Haha :D

If you can squeeze an extra $100, I would go with a tuner. InTune DCX is only $449 right now with custom tuning included. It will really help tie in your other performance upgrades.

I've been so torn between a tuner or not, I have really been looking at the hellwig bars though. Having a hard time deciding between flashy stuff haha or performance/suspension mod.

Good timing for the tuner or swaybars with both of these currently being on sale ;)

I always look at "more bang for your bucks" on this. I don't usually have many bucks to spend... so it becomes important. Do the sway bars really help the handling that much? I hear the tuner is really the way to go for all sorts of great reasons. Currently saving for this myself...

I would definitely go with the tuner before sway bars. The aftermarket swaybars are a definite improvement that you will feel while driving, but you will get more for your dollar out of the tuner.

I just can't decide the pros and cons of a tuner. I read good things and allot of bad things. And you have to change your gas right? I don't think we even carry 93 octane out here, cause i would definitely wanna play with performance mode lol. I just ordered my hids, torn between the drls and something else

93 will net the best performance, but you can run 89 or 91. The gas you run just has to be equal or greater octane than what the tuner is set for.

I suggest that you spread all that extra xmas cheer and help me upgrade an older truck. I would gladly repay you with pictures and smiles :) lol, I hope your able to find something and be pleased with it. Ive been pocketing pretty much every penny Ive made being here, and hope that my bonus once I get home and file with finance is worth the wait. Its really hard to imagine that its actually christmas time when its 90 degrees outside and sunny every single day here.

are Bilsteins a stand alone shock system that lifts a vehicle without any other parts needed or what? I see so many people talking about them on here that ive actually tuned it all out.
