I have a 2019 Ram Limited with factory 22” wheels. I am considering changing tires to Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I don’t want to lift the car. Does anyone know the size of tire I can fit on the vehicle withou creating an issue? Thanks for the help in advance.

Isn’t 285/45/22 the stock size? Nitto makes that in the RG

Just trying to determine how large of a tire will fit on the TRUCK without lifting it. Sorry for the CAR reference as I am CAR crazy.

Go out to your truck, turn the wheel and measure the clearance between the tire and the fender / wheel liner. That’s the only way YOU are going to know how much further in height you can go. Also measure the back side of the tire to the upper control arm. This shouldn’t be an issue but will give you an understanding of what is going on. Finally, goto tiresize.com and do a size comparison with what you have and what you’ve learned by measuring.

It would be easy for someone to chime in with similar wheels and say “I have this size and it works” but one thing we’ve learned about the 19 Ram, there are variances in fender height and payload that is directly affected by options and every vehicle is unique, just like the payload sticker on the door jamb.
