Hey guys, having an issue with an odd noise coming from the front of the truck. I can't seem to identify it.

--Update---
I have embeded it off of youtube. Sound starts at 5sec and goes to 19 sec mark.
Sound is recorded from the front grill external to the truck. Info on the truck: 2012 Ram 1500 Bighorn. 5.7 Hemi v8. 53,*** miles. Oil changed every 3-4k miles by dealership. power stearing pump replaced last year and Idler pully replaced last week. seems to be coming from middle of engine from what i can determine but i could be wrong. This noise started around 3-4 weeks ago now. It is loudest when engine is cold. it is quieter when its warmed up but still present. Noise is from engine area as it is happening when truck stationary. has anyone heard this before?
Any help is appreciated.

I would suggest uploading it to YouTube and then post the link here.

More history needed on why that repair was needed, did it sound like this before the repair? Give as much info as possible to see if someone can help. Only happnes at start up, never any other time? belt is not freyed at all? ever spray the belt for diagnose? sounds like a pully bearing to me with so little to go on. They repaired something last week and ignored this? What shape is the coolant in? ever replace it?

Power steering pump was replaced by dealership as it was making alot of noise.
Idler pulley was replaced when i brought the truck to the mechanic for this noise. They diagnosed the Idle pulley needing replacement.
This noise started about 3-4 weeks ago as of this post. Idle pulley was replaced this past Friday (3-22-19)
Noise happens all the time. It is the loudest when the engine is cold. It quiets down when it warms up but never goes away. Noise volume does change with engine RPM.
Serpentine belt looks good. i do not see any fraying or cracks in the belt. I have not sprayed the belt yet.
I am told the coolant is in good shape. Dealership I purchased the truck from in July of 2018 stated the coolant was flushed the year i purchased it (2018). I am going to get a ball gauge and test the coolant temp soon.
Rear Diff fluid was changed about 4,000 miles ago per scheduled maintenance.

Truck is a 4x2.

I cannot think of adding in any other info at this time.

Thanks

Joe

Well, as it is still fresh I'd go right back to that mechanic and tell him his fix didn't fix it. Does he already know? It was still making the noise when you picked it up, and you paid him? The good news is it is a front end thing, a pump or a pully. Usually their is a sensor that will shut down the engine if a pump fails, so probably not a lot of risk in driving it, but I'd leave my evic set on coolant temp as I drove until it is fixed. Your mechanic either did a bad job or his fix quickly broke, hard to believe that as I would expect the belt to be freyed if it was causing undue pressure on the pulley's. How long after power steering pump replacement did noise start, last year december or last year January? If Dec, then 4 week, would mean if that was the item it was 2 mos of healthy operation. Sometimes they used remans and they just don't last as long, that should be warrantied a year? But the dealer did that, and a different mechainic fixed the idler?

I have a simular sound before on my a/c pump on my durango. Try turning on a/c then check sound. Mine changes sound when a/c on. Was louder when a/c refrigerant was low also.

Update on noise issue: Had the dealership work on the truck all day yesterday. They traced the issue back to the Clutch fan assembly and replaced it. Noise is finally gone.

Thanks for everyone assistance.
