I jacked up my rear end by the pumpkin and spun the tires do see if I have an open differential or limited slip. When I spun one tire forward, the other tire would spin in reverse and when I spin it in reverse, the other one would spin forward. I did this on both sides of the axle and got the same result.

The dealership told me I do not have limited slip.

Whay do you guys think?

Are you in the process of lifting it??

Not yet, I've been too busy fishing and turkey hunting :roflsquared:

But the coils, spacers, shocks, track bar, etc sit in the garage and stare at the truck ever night lol

You have an open.

Damn :(

Will the power ever transfer back and forth to the left and right wheels when I'm slipping or does only the driver side wheel have power 100% of the time

2 weekends from now is the date I'm planning on throwing the lift on :favorites13:

Gotta get me a tom (turkey) first :naughty:

But in all seriousness, I hate seeing the parts on the garage floor instead on the truck

It can if there is equal traction on both sides.
Or you could have a brake drag and it catches the one tire and equals it out.
That's how on these newer trucks you can have an open diff, but two wheel peel it because the traction control kicks in and activates the one brake which equals the power distribution out.

Works okay for the road, but on the dirt that **** will make a vehicle limp.

Does Limited slip diff make it so that the tires spin the same way when you jack up the rear end and spin one tire?

Yea that's what I have in mine, I have a trac loc. when you jack it up and spin one tire the other one spins the same direction. Throw in a limited slip!
