Not a tune, but tranny help

Well after posting what my truck was doing with the idle, I was asked about the transmission fluid level. When I checked it was very high. Took it out for about 5 miles and temp was at 138 and checked it again. The level was at the angled part of the dipstick. Now what is the best way to take it out.

Auto zone should have a pump type siphon. How many qts did they add?

to be honest though I wouldn't touch it, call the shop that did the swap and tell them they completely over filled the trans and now it's not acting right. their mistake, they should fix it.

I agree with this. Looks like Monday morning they will be doing a little fixy fix . For Free.

Make sure you get a service record from them that they over filled it and that they are fixing it. Once they get the fluid out you should be good to go. I'm guessing they just filled the trans per the book but didn't account the fluid in the lines and cooler staying in causing it to overfill.
