NOT the typical catch can question... Promise

The instructions on the BT Can says to use the lowest hole in the head which I did. My can sits much lower than the others in the pictures I see posted. Is there a benefit to be high or low? I would think lower helps the separation. :word:

Doesn't matter. Mine is mounted to the side of the radiator all the way at the top.

You are fine there. If you mount it on the higher hole, it would have the front hose almost even with the fitting under the TB.

I didn't get directions with my BT can. I guessed!

I should be receiving and installing mine this weekend... What is the "proper" way... Top or bottom hole?

I would use the top hole as it is the easiest to access and the line will run almost parallel to the nipple under the TB. I think BT shipped a run of catch cans without instructions because they are normally included. I must have missed it as well when I packaged these up.

I've been grooving in the lower hole since I got my can in June. Still had to trim one hose, so upper or lower your going to have some decisions specific to how you decide to do the deed.

I had instructions (Still do if need to post) and it clearly says to install in the lowest left hole. Since we are dealing with vapor separation, it seems to me that lower is better for the separation and the vapor moves up.

My G8 can has sat pretty well level to the outlet and inlet for 4.5 years and it fills up fine. I took the intake and TB off last month and they were clean!
