There seems to be a lot of info on gm np246 transfer case leaks caused by tc oil pump rubbing thru the rear housing. There is nothing that I can find about the Dodge version. You can get a reinforced rear housing for the NP246, and a couple of the suppliers say it will fit the Dodge version, but a lot of them say they only fit the gm versions. I have 156,000 miles on mine, and no leaks-but I want to fix this before is is a problem. Has anyone had this problem?
