I don't tow at all, and yes Jay those OEM GY's are not good on wet pavement, I've been planning to replace them eventually, so it looks like a good time now lol. Corneileous thanks for the info, I would like a larger more aggressive looking tire, I don't mind spending a bit more to get what I will be happy with(hopefully longer than 12,000 miles!)If you don't recommend BFG KO'S what are some you do recommend?
There’s a lot of people that like those Nitto Terra Grapplers. As far as what I would recommend for an all terrain, the Cooper Discoverer AT/3’s are good. My current set is the Michelin Defender LTX in the stock size and they are wonderful. Not much for off-road, and they don’t look very aggressive but they sure are a nice replacement to those Goodyear’s.
Another thing to ponder: I’m not sure how much bigger than stock you’d have to not go, but most tires 35 inches and larger are 10 ply.
