Oil and filter advice

There are too many posts on this but am looking for advice.I have a 2015. 1500 big horn crew cab 5.7 approx 60k.I only put 15 miles a day non highway driving on the truck.no trailer or plow.Im in the eastern ny area.I want to use synthetic.I am looking at royal purple which is available in my area but am not sure which type.Also the oly filter available on the rp site is a 1048 3 inch.Suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm running this right now. It's a lot bigger than the stock filter so you may have issues getting a normal strap wrench on it when you go to change it later...

Yes, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-20.

Why not just order the 6 qt box of full-synthetic Havoline Pro-ds oil ($19.95) from Walmart and have it shipped to nearest Walmart or your house?
