I just ordered an orange OCC for my wife's New 2016 Challenger RT Plus that is in transit to our dealer from the factory . I'll have the OCC installed as soon as it's in my driveway

Mine is every a thousand miles. You can try first 500miles or more for estimate.

Dumped the O'l occ today while doing other things on the Ram .

I'd say approximately 2.0 oz this time almost 700 miles .





The oil in the occ is very clear , and doesn't smell like fuel .

My winter dumps usually smell like fuel / gas and summer dumps do not ?
I'm guessing it's from winter fuel additives that do not burn as efficiently as the summer fuel ... no water / normal condensation this time , which is expected , due to my summer oil temps getting above 212°f on a regular basis as opposed to the winter time when I struggle to get the oil temps above 200°f .

I'm just glad in the last 700 miles this 2.0 oz of oil never had an opportunity to gum up my CLEAN AIR INTAKE PLENUM ! Only clean air and gas is allowed in the combustion chamber on my 5.7L

No it's not recommended to put the catch can contents back into the engine. That is why your using a catch can is to keep it from going back into the engine.

Just did my first dump of oil catch can at 547 mile and it only had 4.75 cc's in it.
