Sometime you get what you pay for , I personally think the head design is better on the elite engineering occ's , but if your working on an extremely tight budget you could just say f××k it and route any o'l tube from the PCV to dump on the ground

Just kidding !

Look into the head designs , the internal plumbing and features such as hoses made to accept the heat of the engine compartment in the summer , quality materials ie fittings hardware and mounting bracket and ease of draining / dumping as far as access goes ( the more simple the better ) some have a glass jar or externally plumbed sight gauge , look at what's important to you before making a purchase .

Me , I wanted the Billet Technologies occ , at the time they only had them in bare aluminum color ( I wanted Red ) I started shopping around , I found a couple cheep Red ones , then I found the www.eliteengineeringusa.com ones offered in Red I ended up getting one , I don't regret it I do think it was the best head design available at the time .

I just ordered a 2015 Challenger RT Plus Loaded for the wife , I'll have a Billet Technologies OCC from Moe's Performance on its 5.7L Hemi 20 mins after we get it home .

So I take it that the catch can won't void the warranty of the vehicle.

As far as warranty, I'd say absolutely NOT , but every dealer is different.

I've had my truck in for service and had no comments , but once the Svc mgr said it was a good idea on the 5.7s and he had one on both his 5.7s .

Hope this helps

Just be careful in installing to not incorrectly attach the hoses. Fires and possible explosion have been reported.

Hey I don't think that you can't install it incorrectly. It will still vent into the intake but oilfree I hope

I guess some occ's may have an "in" & "out" if the one you choose does just make sure the IN is coming from the PCV and the OUT is going to the intake .

Just orderd my catch can from Moe's. How often do you need to check it after you install it. And AFMoulton what type of paint did you use to paint your engine cover with. Did you use plasticoat.

I used Hemi Orange Engine Paint, and a can of factory touch up to match my outside color. Then some Jrylon clearcoat.

I check mine at the gas station for fill ups, or after I get home from the gas station.
