That adapter 53021610AF will not work on our Rams, it says only 2003 to 2008 as stated in the catalog. They currently don't make an adapter for our Rams. There was a design change in 2013, hence why 2013+ Rams use the 339 filter instead of the 899.

Put on a remote oil filter like I did, it's easy to get to and runs a full size Ford filter.

Do you have a part number??
Link?

Here is a link for the relocate bracket from Jegs. Part no. 53021610AFK. The K at the end means a kit that includes the O-rings and mounting screws. It is kinda spendy.
Jegs says 5.7/6.1, it looks to me like it will fit. It points forward, would clear the electric steering rack. There is a plastic wire clip in one of the screw holes on my truck that would have to be pulled out, but other than that it looks like it would fit.
This picture of my truck shows the area forward of the oil filter and you can see the gray wire clip stuck in the screw hole.

I have a 2WD and I don't know if the 4WDs have this much room.

for what year? As far as I know the tall boy (eg Wix 51515, or Fram PH8A) is not metric thread, the later Mopar 2009? and later are metric thread..If yours is a metric, I'd be obliged to know what number it is.

I'm using the fatter (not taller) Wix with a greater oil capacity that the OEM filter. Same specs minus the volume. Used it on my 1500 5.7 and now my 6.4. I think it was spec'd for earlier 4th gen 5.7 hemis.

It is. I still think that oil adapter think will work on the 2009+ trucks.
