I bought this one, just haven't had it installed yet but the quality appears very high:

Yeh, I have seen that one and from the pic on their web site it looks of good quality.

Why not install it yourself, that way you know it's done right and everything is tight
True enough. But I picture myself, flat on my back on a Canadian driveway in the winter and suddenly I'm OK with getting it installed.
I was wondering about the amount and size of the inlet holes of the many different oil filter brands.
I can understand that more and larger would be a good thing for HEMI engines that have the cam and lifter tick and more oil flow would benefit for better lubing the internals using a good quality synthetic oil, but what about that silicone anti-drain back valve?
Is that drain back valve doing what it's supposed to do when the engine is shut down?
Is it actually sealing off preventing oil from draining back down into the bottom of the engine because of the possibility of the larger/more inlet holes or is there still enough oil psi built up in the engine when it's shut down that there is a lot of oil bleed down?
I don't have the the famous HEMI tick but just the occasional dry start up clatter even when using the Royal Purple 20-820 and the Purolator BOSS PBL 24651.
However, when I was using the MOPAR MO339 and MO899 with Pennzoil Platinum 5w/20 and 30 my HEMI has the dry start up clatter a lot. Best thing I did was get away from that oil/filter combo and made the move to Red Line 5w/30 and the Royal Purple 20-820.
I've cut open a few of the high end oil filters and viewed for myself what the internals looked and felt like and the anti drain back valves look to be the same in comparison ... so, idk ... just wondering.
No joke, my guess they will sell out quick the market is so dry. If you see reviews everywhere, these filters are really popular. Seams like we arent special here, everyone figures these things out in other forums probably just like we did. That RP/Amsoil media is special when it comes to oil filter media, that thick loose media just isnt in other products. That filter fits a bunch of other cars and trucks besides hemis. If the Royal Purple 20-820 becomes available, I'll most definitely go back to using it ... and if they are not all bought up by folks here in the RAMforum. jk ...
Regardless whether the valve may be, the other engine parts are draining back to the pan, hence the clanky startup if shutdown on the lower-than-low idle speed the factory sets (650 rpm). One of they guys says he holds rpm ~ 1,000 @ shut off and it helps with the next start up not being so clanky.
What does this tell us? It tells us the oil flow at low idle rpm on these engines is horse****.
I like the Chinooks we get out here, lol. Got up to have a *** at 4:00am last night and it was -21C on my back decks thermometer,by the time i got up at 5:30am to start the day,we had warmed up to 0C,lol. According to the weather dudes on the news tonight,we warmed up 20 degrees celcius in 15 minutes early this morning, only time i don't mind Alberta is when the old snow eaters blow inTrue enough. But I picture myself, flat on my back on a Canadian driveway in the winter and suddenly I'm OK with getting it installed.

I just replaced the fuel shutoff solenoid on the 12 valve in the dark, 11 degrees with a nice breeze. Glad i put my brothers 67 camaro roller in the garage instead lolMove down here to Minnesota where it's a balmy 7F and 13mph wind.
Practically summer for you guys. In fact, I did see a guy laying under his truck on the snow along the curb last weekend.
As soon as they become available on Amazon or Walmart.com I’m buying a dozen. LolHehe, I guess I was on to something...
