Redline motor oil after my mobil 1 stock runs out & royal purple oil filters. Also got redline for tranny & rear axle oil ready to go. If u love ur ram as much as I do, I suggest gettin a magnetic drain plug.

I run Royal Purple HPS synthetic and an RP filter as well (as the RP rep showed me how it performs better and stays cleaner with its own filter), but any synthetic media filter (K&N/Wix) are better than the el cheapo ones.

Never heard of the Slick 50 though... what is the point of that? Is it worth it?

Slick 50.... I can't explain it to well and I'm hesitant to instruct anyone to use it because I'm not really all that familiar in it. My dad had a jeep tj at 90,000 miles a lifter started to tick. He added it and the tick was gone. He talked me into adding into my hemi. The tick is still there but less noticeable and less frequent. It's pretty much just high performance oil, but I don't know what's the extra additives and stuff. It's a treatment for valve train and lifter noise, claims it reduces frictioncand wear.I will say that just for peice of mind and extra protection I'll add it in every oil change from here on out. But with all that being said I added it when I switched to royal purple so I can't say for sure if it was the royal purple or slick 50 that quiten my famous hemi tick. 21$ for a half of quart and it'll last 8 to 15 oil changes based on how much you put in it.

Haha if I eat any more fast food for lunch, my **** might get that big... but no. All guy here Although I wouldnt mind strapping her into my truck one day, I probably will never get the chance
