Forgot my small utility trailer was behind me before I backed up...jackknifed it. Crunch.

Sorry to hear/see that. We all make mistakes, some more costly than others. If not involving insurance, I bet that one will easily cost you $1000 or more with paint. :(

geez, that sucks. Maybe you can find a used box if you don't go through insurance.

I hate doing ******** things. I'm sure we all do it though. My last one was in the late 90's. Drove in to the garage with my roof bike rack loaded with bikes. crushed in the roof of the old Camry, blowing out the rear window, cracking the windshield and bending all sorts of roof / door parts. couldn't get any shop to install new glass since the metal was all deformed despite my attempt to straighten everything. Had to do it myself and use a lot of sealer.

Yeah- I know how you feel- got stuck in the yard with my old one-2wd - and the comments from my wife, and everything came together...finally got grip, floored it, and there was the tree- tailgate, bumper and dent in wheel arch. Man, I suffered...

Lol, all I can picture is that insurance commercial on tv where the guy does the same thing.

That's a bummer, sorry to see. Backup Camera and sensors saved my bacon a few times.

That is the sad thing. I have the big screen, backup camera, front and rear bumper sensors.

Can't fix stupid.[emoji22]

The real bummer is that even after you get it fixed and it's been months and months ago, your wife will still remember. Kinda a double shot in the *ss---

I feel for you. That kind of stuff happens more than you think. A guy I work with, with a new Ram, did the same thing. He said he was backing up at night, and never realized how out of shape the trailer was, until it was too late. Somebody mentioned pulling into a garage with a roof rack full of bikes, my nephew did the exact same thing with his brand new Mercedes. He was fortunate that he was moving slowly, and stopped right away, so there was little damage.
