OPT7 Cores?

Hey all, I've got some threads going looking into different options for lighting. I know the Fluxbeam X's are by far the best. My question is to those whom have used the basic Core lights.

Looking at strictly lumens, the stock halogens are roughly 1800 lumens while the Opt 7 Core lights are rated near 3000 lumens. All thing being equal, these have to be a massive upgrade in comparison to the stock lighting, is this statement accurate?

Do you have the Opt7 Fluxbeam Core lights?

No I do not, can't speak to their beam pattern, nor to their performance.

May be good may be bad, but it is not a forgone conclusion they would be an upgrade per your original post

I can give definitive data in V.3 LED's , Massive upgrade, super bright almost spot on beam pattern to he stock halogens

I had the fluxbeam and took them out once my Sirius xm expired. I couldn’t get my fm stations to come in due to the opt 7 LED’s.

Long story made short. I returned my opt7’s and they gave me a store credit. I got a set of the core led fog light bulbs for my wife’s accord.

Granted the light comparison I am giving is based off two different vehicles. Truth be told. I couldn’t really tell the difference between the fluxbeam and core bulbs.


Fwiw - the opt7 fluxbeam back of the bulb fan was rusted. It still worked, but I was very disappointed. I now run the sylviania ultras in my truck. Very pleased with those. .
