I’m going to put some Redline fuel injector cleaner in tonight then run thru that tank this weekend. I’ll do the injector swap Sunday night. If the issue is not an injector I intend to go to the dealer and see if I can get Ram cares to fix this under the powertrain warranty. (Whatever it is, broken valve spring, bad lifter/cam...etc). Mine is a 2013 but I don’t even have 31K on it yet.

Ugh best of luck ! Keep me posted . I have a tune on my to accommodate headers if anything is broke with mine I’m sure I’ll be denied coverage . It’s ******** since it was in shop with 7k miles with the loud startup due to “lifters bleeding down” while sitting for prolonged periods. My tunes aren’t aggressive nor do I pound my truck . Any engine failure has been rearing it’s ugly head from the beginning. Hopefully that can help fight my cause if it gets to that point.

If it’s a lifter cam issue I’m then stuck between trading it in .... or doing an engine swap..... I love the look of my truck and spent tons of money making it “look “ how I want it ... it’s gonna be a tough decision if it’s an expensive issue. Hey

Fuel injector cleaner did nothing. Had some delays, but finally got it into the dealer yesterday. Just got an email from them saying they want $1079.00 just to tear it down and see what the issue could be.

Opened a claim with FCA, hopefully they’ll help me and this babied cream puff out!

I have a stripped throttle body bolt due to the cheap plastic manifolds these things have and I've tried to fix em with helicoils ... On top of that since then ivw had a sucking noise at 2k rpm .... All recently got worse since I've tried to tighten the bolts .... Hoping I have a cracked intake manifold cuzthis article points to all of my supmtoms. What do u guys think?
