Has anyone sprayed their front an back emblems NOT with plastidip. I used plastidip but I don't like the mat finish. I like some sheen to it. I know they sell them on eBay in black but at approximately $40 ea. that's expensive. You think a good plastic spray paint will do? Any sanding needed?

I painted mine. If you scuff up the chrome reallllllly good, they'll last for a while.

Krylon fusion works great for platics, but Plstidip also makes a glossifier for the shine you're looking for. I personally haven't used it, but I'm sure someone on here has.

I have my wheels done with Anthracite Plasti Dip and used the glossifier. It turned out great and gives it a nice shine to cover up the matte look.

Ok. I might try the glossifier of plastidip.
