I was in oreilys the other day and their computer didn't pull up any PCV valves for my 4.7, does it not have one? I was positive it did but have never really looked

All engines have to release positive crankcase pressure someway, so all of them have a way to do it.

Usually there along the valve cover somewhere if I'm not mistaken. And I'm pretty sure mine and yours will be in different locations seeing I don't have the hemi.. Damnit

Thanks for chiming in, that would explain it not showing up in their computer at oreilys. Going to find and replace it this weekend, just rolled over to 64,000 and I think it's safe to say its WAY past due

Dat Cummins!
Airtex/Wells makes an aftermarket replacement for the valve, part# 6P1370.

The Mopar part# is 53032855AA if that helps any. You know how it can be sometimes, dealing with the parts clerk!!!

If it's the same as the later 4.7's,it's on the drivers side valve cover towards the rear, almost under the brake booster.

Is it in a black box like the Hemi at the way back?

Last time I was under the hood I seen something that looked like it coulda been the PCV valve on the driver side. Ill take a look again.

Do these things just pull right out or do they screw in?
