i use my truck like a truck all the time. it seemed to get some pretty good work outs last year.
3600lbs of patio stone. she looked pretty good that low

this was a pretty good load of bricks and scrap wood but the weight was poorly
distributed and a bit heavy on the back as you can tell from the front end sitting a bit high

moved a couple lawn tractors for a buddy. 1 had a blade which was a bit of a pain to move since my truck sits a bit high in the back and the blade sits so low. never usually squats much under regular use

These pics made me grin! the rims you have on there are the exact same ones on my 76 dodge dart, and I mowed twenty years with a red wheel horse like that one! well, it started out like that one.. has no seat and headlights long gone, it had the single share plow, and the disk and the cultivator and the belly mower as well as the blade.. That tractor got used!!

hahaha ya i love the rims on my truck too. they are actually pretty special. most people don't realized they are actually made of magnesium. they are super light. lighter than any aluminum rims i have handled. ya this wheel horse is in pretty good shape but it still needs some work. my buddy only has the blade. i was going to borrow it from him this summer to hopefully do a bit of grading at my sisters place. should be fun. i have been told it pushes pretty good.

To be honest, Dad always ran the blade, he never let me do that growing up, and when I got old enough, he had a bigger tractor with down pressure for the back to blade. He did used to let us ride on top of the disk though. it had places where you could put weight on top of it that were made the size of cinder blocks. we stood on them, and put our hands on his shoulders. I guess I did not know they were magnesium either, I wondered why they were not shiny like other aluminum wheels

Nice GS! Are you on TheGSResources.com?
Thanks!
No, I haven't heard of it. I need a headlight bucket and bezel for it.
I also have a 78 GS1000 that I want to turn into a Wes Cooley bike.

Looks like your Ram is serving you well, Vicman. I love that yellow color, even though black is still my favorite. It's a breath of fresh air.

Thank you very much! I grew up a blue oval guy since my Dad worked till retirement for them and caused a big uproar when I bought a 95 1500 Ram. When I traded up to a Quad cab in 99, I was ordering a yellow Sport 1500 with all the heavy duty options and the dealership said " I have your truck, it's just not yellow. How do you feel about blue?". Needless to say but they made me a SMOKIN deal on the blue one and I thought I would drive it the rest of my days. Then, I saw this beautiful thing and my wife demanded Big Blue leave the driveway.
This truck is the coolest vehicle I've ever owned. If it lasts as long as Big Blue did i'lI be too old to climb up in it.
