I have a 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 4x4, and I've used AlfaOBD to add lots of features to my truck, including upgrading to a 12" UC5 and swapping in a 2022 BCM to support newer features.

I'm getting ready to retrofit a 2023 full digital cluster into my truck and it's making me kinda nuts that I have not been able to get the Pitch/Roll offroad gauges to work on my truck. I can access the pitch/roll page in the EVIC and the Uconnect, and I see the gauge, but it never gives me a reading, it's always at 0 degrees, sometimes it'll get stuck at 1 degree and that's it, and it'll totally grey out if I exceed the max speed for using those gauges... Also most of my engine gauges don't work in the offroad pages on the Uconnect either, but I'm not super concerned about those.

The initial theory was that the airbag module was where the pitch/roll data was coming from, and that my 2019 airbag module didn't support that feature. However that theory is shot since another member has a new Uconnect swapped into their 2017 and their Pitch/Roll gauges work just fine.

I'm hoping someone here on the forums might know why I'm having this issue, and how to fix it.

Also admin/mods after creating this post I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum for this post, please feel free to move it if you feel there's a more appropriate forum.

Were you able to resolve this? Mine is also the same as yours. I wonder if changing the airbag will resolve it.

I tried a new airbag module and a new steering module, neither worked. What year is your truck?

You can try running an ABS module initialization through AlfaOBD, I've heard that worked for some people.

Same here with the offroad pitch/roll, doesn't work. I have a 22 limited and didn't work on the original 22 radio, then went to a 23 radio and 12" digital cluster, no change there as well. I recall reading somewhere on another thread about this and comes down to the vehicle line and other offroad settings within the bcm which by playing around with random ones it had side affects on other features. It is a balance of what trim level and extra options you have that will not play nice with other features likes this one. Im learning the hard way that going all in on the highest true "fully loaded" package I could find out there is hindering the ability to add suttle features as this one with pitch etc that frankly I do not use or need just the fact of being able to turn on is the lure... Off topic but its like with the reverse camera, you put in reverse and the backup cam displays, simple right well with the surround view that cannot be turned on so to speak, it can only default to the surround view which I do not like at all not the slightest! too dam tiny and useless, so have to reach over and hit the reverse camera to then pull up the larger view.

I posted about this elsewhere but recently discovered that by enabling the offroad camera it took away the surround view calibration and grid lines on the backup and front cameras. So had to turn that off to regain normalcy as it did not outweigh the perks of activating that with gaining soft keys for the front camera.
