Wow thats some funky stuff left behind. I wonder if some time in a media blaster would take off that glue and not damage the rim.

I think when u got them coated they will still look good, they sandblast before powdercoating anyway...the only question is if that Center cap would still fit in there

I really think you could get a trade if u post on craigslist and get a set of the newer ones, just offer to pay for dismount/remount or something

That one guy painted a pretty cool design over his chrome clads on dt and df, I'm on my phone so someone find it

yeah so i decided not to paint them cuz im not 100% set on black wheels. and i also decided to spend the morning with my lady friend drinking coffee instead! sorry but she is the only thing in life that my truck takes a back seat to!!

The thing about it is man, if you don't like it you can peel it right off. Its not hard at all. It took me about 2 hrs one night to do, taping included, and I did 5 coats. Probably a little much, but I figured the more the better.

did you leave your rims right on the truck....jw because your lugs are black also...im debating since EVERYTHING on my truck is black besides the BEE stripe....should i do everything black on the rims....or leave the lugs chrome....

Yeah I left them on...too much of a pain to take them off. Eventually I will pull the lug nuts and peel the plasti-dip off them or just buy new chrome lug nuts.

Have you used that back seat after coffee? Worked for me.lol

I left my lug nuts chrome also, looks alright I guess. I also left my center cap chrome
