Well I went and did it again. Hit the emblems and wheels today. Now at least I don't feel so rushed to find wheels and my emblems don't blind blind me. Amazing what a difference 20 bucks can make.

Three years strong on my last truck.

Btw my wife showed me the funniest meme I've ever seen to date : "America was built by men in jeans not by criminals in pant suits!"

Great job! I bought the cans but have yet to find time to do it.

Hmmmmmm....I'm not so sure about that. I love my plastidipped rims, emblems and grill. They look great and have been on for two yrs now.

Debatable I think

It's definitely not the best option for everyone but it was the best option for me from a durability standpoint and the fact that I knew I never wanted to go back to the chrome.

How much gravel you guys run? Zero chips anywhere in 6k miles(approx 15% gravel) :happy107:

I used the same primer, paint and clear coat for my front bumper/guard, grille, wheels and rear bumper. Link is for the clear coat I used and pics are the primer/paint used plus before and after.

Good prep and primer is key, any old paint can be used for color and that clear coat is a really amazing product over the top.
