It would depend on your trim level. Obviously a sport would need body colored but if you’ve got chrome bumpers, etc... I would go with chrome letters.

I have a 2012 so i havent done any research on the new ones. Are the ram letters removable? If so i think i would remove them and the chrome trim on bottom of tailgate if its just glued on. I think taking the ram off and leaving it open or replacing with the ram head logo. Everybodys opinions are different lol. Its hard until you can actually change it and see for yourself.
I'm starting to wish I'd gone red lettering on the tailgate and 3 different letters.
Chrome goes with more chrome.![]()
What do you mean? If the lettering isn’t chrome it’s the same color as your truck except for the Rebel. Then it’s black, despite what color your truck is.

As much time as I've spent working on my 2017 limited to make it my own and try to bond with it and love it like my 11 laramie it's always undone when I drive it because I really don't like the way they've laid out the cab controls and taken away features I liked so much on my old one. Test drove a Denali yesterday and the power points, climate control, cup holders, shifter. Pretty much everything is set up better in my opinion. Wishing for the first time ever the letters on the back of my truck were GMC. Sorry guys
Guess I totally didn’t see that coming. lol.

Sorry! I'm usually more helpfull. In a mood.
My girlfriend just cancelled her special order grand cherokee, because she didn't want it after she drove my limited a few days while her car was in the shop and found out it was very similar. Salesman was pissed, but the dealership let us off the hook because we bought a new CRV instead from the same ownership group. While I was at the auto mall I couldn't help but look around.
Feel like I'm pirating the thread, but since you asked. Useless pocket on the dash used to be the 120V inverter and where the inverter was a 12V I used for my 2 way. Gone and where the only one is leaves wires in the way and I can't close the compartment. Climate control didn't require the touch screen and I could switch air pattern without looking. Now involves changing screens, selecting pattern then going back to what I want up. Nav used to track actual speed next to speed limit and turned red as a visual if you were speeding. Feature removed. Sat radio used to have a playlist option and fwd and rwd were on the steering wheel control in replay mode. Feature removed. Used to watch dvds waiting for the ferry and on standby at job sites. Feature removed. Bigger screen, but no video playback. Music loaded into hard drive so I didn't have to leave anything in the vehicle. Feature removed. Auto wipers were on the knob much like the headlights. Now auto overrides everything regardless of any manual settings and it takes multiple menus and a scroll down to select it on and off. Added a screen of button, which is great, but so much stuff is tied into it you really can't switch it off. Shifter knob, which I'm not fond of is pretty low on my annoyance list. Also screen and switches in the centre used to be surrounded by what I thought was a good looking wood grain. Now cheap plastic on a premium truck. I could go on, but I think I've said enough. Actually 1 more. Rear seat light was a tap light for people in the back seat. Now only controlled from the front and everything has to come on.But on a more serious note, what is so different between the 2011 interior you had in your Laramie from your Limited now? I’m going to be ordering me a 2018 Limited here real soon hopefully although I haven’t gotten to test drive one yet. I did however test drive a 2017 Laramie Longhorn the other day which was pretty much the same thing except for color. I liked it. I wasn’t sure I’d like the rotary shifter knob on the dash but I surprisingly didn’t mind it at all. I’m not too crazy myself about the cup holders in the Limited but they could be a lot worse, tho. I guess it’s kinda the price you pay to have the bucket seats.
I wouldn’t be sorry, we all have what we like and what we don’t like and even though I have much respect for those who aid in keeping the brands in competition with each other but I guess I myself am just too brand-loyal. I would never have that disgusting acronym on my tailgate...[emoji5]

Guess I don’t get what you mean.Feel like I'm pirating the thread, but since you asked. Useless pocket on the dash used to be the 120V inverter and where the inverter was a 12V I used for my 2 way. Gone and where the only one is leaves wires in the way and I can't close the compartment.
Wish I woulda played more with all that but I didn’t. But after watching a video I found on YouTube, I see what you mean. Just have to familiarize myself with the change.Climate control didn't require the touch screen and I could switch air pattern without looking. Hmm. Guess that wouldn’t be a concern to me since my radar detector already does that...lol.Nav used to track actual speed next to speed limit and turned red as a visual if you were speeding. Feature removed.
Even with the rocker buttons on the back of the steering wheel? That’s strange.Sat radio used to have a playlist option and fwd and rwd were on the steering wheel control in replay mode. Feature removed.

I would think that with the advancement of larger hard drives on smartphones these days- my iPhone 7 has a 128-gig hard drive on it with over 10,000 songs at my disposal, that most people wouldn’t need to store their music in a hard drive that’s built into their vehicle. Technology advances with time and with what the general consumer would need so, if the general population doesn’t need this feature of uploading music files to their vehicle, the manufacturer is no longer going to invest in something that they would feel is unnecessary.Music loaded into hard drive so I didn't have to leave anything in the vehicle. Feature removed.
Maybe they figured it wasn’t needed. Is it possible that the rain-sensitive wipers on the 2017’s and 2018’s work better than on the 2011’s? It might also be the reason why the switch to turn that off is within the unconnect screen and not on the switch itself because possibly the older system didn’t support it, maybe? I’m just guessing. lol.Auto wipers were on the knob much like the headlights. Now auto overrides everything regardless of any manual settings and it takes multiple menus and a scroll down to select it on and off.

That’s funny, they all claim it’s real wood...[emoji848]Also screen and switches in the centre used to be surrounded by what I thought was a good looking wood grain. Now cheap plastic on a premium truck.
Sounds to me like your not happy with your truck. Seems to me it’s probably time to get rid of it and get what you want. [emoji41]I could go on, but I think I've said enough.
