Sounds like a lifter. Mine did the same thing I could clear the code and within an hour it was back on. I'm gonna say she's on borrowed time. [emoji51] I mean you could try redline oil but if you're getting the misfire code in gonna say it's likely too late. I replaced my cam with an aftermarket one and deleted the MDS and Havnt looked back. I Havnt even noticed a change in mileage since I deleted that crap. I will say I'm into the throttle alot more with the added power though lol.

So do you think it’s best if I just replace the engine?

6-7K for lifters? Don't go back there. You should be able to replace the entire engine for that amount.
The dodge dealership in Abilene Texas told me that , it’s where I bought the truck in 2015
Do you know any good places to buy an engine from ?

Welcome to the forum, the dreaded hemi tick bit you. Once you get a mis fire with hemi tick, 99% of the time you are on borrowed time. Redline might have helped prior to this, but I doubt it would help at this point. If anything will help, it would be thicker oil.

So if I was you I would call local shops and ask what they want for a hemi lifter/cam swap. You might get it under 4 grand a little, but that is the lowest we have seen and seams to be rare. Once you get your new cam/lifters, come back and ask the best way to take care of them. It isn't about maintaining it well, but with the right additives.

Sadly this is very common with hemi's and when it bites usually happens exactly inbewteen 70k to 130k miles.

I've got no advice unfortunately but this video here might help you in being sure what's wrong.
Well if that's the trouble you're experiencing the video won't help. Ultimately you're getting bit for some money and hopefully you can find a shop that's willing to do the work at an economical rate.
