I have 8000K LED bulbs i have, and have had for a while, that i took out because it seems that i could never get them aligned properly. They were too high at first, then i re-aimed them the same height as the stock bulbs, and they were way too low, so i don’t know where to go with that.

Thanks, but issue I have w/ morimotos is likely going to be the same as these Nineo IIs now described below in 2009 Sport foglamps, and a lower temperature which wouldn't match the 6.5K headlights.

The 9005 Nineo IIs produce a halogen like beam pattern from the front on a wall, but they do still have the issue where when you can directly see the LED from the side, like if you were to pass someone, it could be blinding as I see on the very far extremes that the beam is going higher. Its not as extreme as on the Hikari 2020s though, that advertise they can make a super wide beam (and thus can throw the light directly forward to a wide angle).

I think this actually happens on the incandescent as well, but being a more mellow yellow color and dimmer, its not as noticeable, and that black cap is relatively close to the filament so likely reduces the angle you could directly see the filament like an umbrella.

tl;dr: Nineo IIs are very bright, plug and play (no errors), and have acceptable blinding light-bleed issues at all by extreme angles to the far left and far right of your beam on foglamps. I'm likely just more **** about having no light bleeding above hip level, and driving around quite a bit tonight I was never flashed, and so am keeping these and definitely recommend the way these secure (clockable with allen wrench to lock down) over the Hikari 2020s that just use friction fit with o-rings for fogs. For headlights/highbeams I'm happy with the Hikari 2020s.

Ok lights came today. They are in , I see a big difference already. I will get some more pictures after dark. When I get to test them out. Probably need to do some tweaking.

Looks like the yellow from your headlights leaked into the fogs. Might want to check your headlight fluid levels.

I've never had yellow fogs before. I live close to the ocean and its always foggy. Figured I'd give them a go.

All I can say is wow...I adjusted them and drove around for about an hour. Didn't get flashed once. The only bad thing is I wish I had gotten them sooner. Im not sure how the picture's show the light but its literally a night and day difference.

I had 3000K HID's in the fogs in my '08 Ram, they work awesome in the snow and rain we have in Fargo.

Hey everyone, was wondering if someone could help me out, i recently installed the morimoto LED head lights on my truck, i followed the instructions as best i could but I cant figure out why my DRL's won't stay on by themselves. They work perfectly fine, but I have to either turn on my marker light switch or wait for it to turn dark outside for them to turn on lol. I have a 2019 classic body ram and the fuse tap is plugged into #66 which is the sunroof one. My fuses are the smaller sized ones (the size of the pins of the fuse tap are the same size). If anyone has a way for me to fix this issue, it would be much appreciated!!
