Crap that's why I hate reading about this stuff on web sights you never get the straight poop until you've already been screwed.
I went out and checked the plugs and they are total different and won't plug together.
Why can't you just replace both plugs? They are just 10 gauge plugs. I don't understand changing the motors when you can just change the plugs.
Or is what this guy is selling the correct splice?
If by plugs you mean connectors, I say to you; good luck.

It took me weeks of looking and calling in some favors from some guys I know in the automotive industry to get the connectors.

I see one major difference between the 2 fans the one on my 2014 has only 2 wires and the fan I bought which was manufactured in 12/13 has 3 wires 2 large 10 gauge wires and one small wire.
I wish someone in the real know how would speak up, cause if this thing isn't going to work I'm going to have to send it back.
I have read probably a 100 pages on this conversion and not once run across that there are different plugs on different years.

I bought 2 of the same fans you have, and did not see an easy way to make it work, so I sent them back. The 09-12 v6 fan is what you need, but the wires do not reach...hence why Wade had to make the extension harnesses in this thread. Most of the 2014 guys are just removing the stock clutch fan and just driving around with the factory AC condenser fan. I even know guys in TX and south Florida that are running it this way without any trouble.

I wish there was an easier alternative, but that is all we know at this time.

Are the 09-12 fans just as good or the same as the 13+ even though they didn't come with the penastar motor?

I have never hooked up a 13+ fan, so I'm not sure if it is a stronger/weaker fan than the 09-12. I am running the Mopar V6 fan in both of my 2011 Hemi Rams though, and they offer more than enough cooling. They are also much quieter than the TYC fan.

Ok, I was looking at a 2013 efan in the salvage yard but then saw this thread saying they won't be plug in play for a older trucks. So was wondering if the 09-12 fans are just as good.

Thanks for your help.

Something else worth looking into may be the fan that is used with the eco diesel. I've been told that it is a very stout efan setup, but I have not held 1 in my hand to check the mounting location or electrical connections yet.

You can always fall back on the TYC fan. They are only about $125 last I checked, and they work fine. Noisy, but they offer plenty of cooling.

Is any one but see what I'm talking about, what the heck part # do you need for a 2014 or newer do you need?

I have looked on a dozen different Mopar web sight and the part # they list for 2014 is the same one they list for 2013 and that doesn't work!!

What do you mean it does not work? I have an 09-13 TYC Efan and it works just fine as long as you extend the wires (or grab a wiring harness from this guy).

Have you bothered to do ANY reading on the subject? I posted it many times in multiple threads so just search through some of mine.

As far as the '14-'15 Efan, according to Matt, it does not fit as its a different plug. So best bet is to extend the wiring. But, if the sites are listing it, purchase one for a '14 and see if it works. Obviously if the 09-13 and 14 part number are the same, then it will work but you will most likely need to extend the harness.

There is not a direct plug in fan replacement that works on the 2014-15's without extending the wiring harness. All you need to do is buy the TYC or Mopar fan that is listed for the 09-12 trucks and extend the wiring. The TYC Part# is 622320. I don't have the Mopar part# in front of me, but it retails much higher at close to $400.

I think I found the terminal connectors, but I'm not sure. I'll look at it one day I'm not completely overloaded at work lol.

You know I think I'm just going to put the 180 thermostat in and forget this stupid EFan and put a tuner it to get the stock EFan to turn on earlier and be happy.
If anyone ever lists the correct part#'s for a factory EFan (No aftermarket) with everything it takes to install it I will do it.
I keep my trucks forever so I'm sure someone in the future will provide the correct info and part#'s and modifications to make this work perfect on a 2014, until then I'm done thinking about it.

Depending on what you have, there may not be a plug in replacement for your fan. That's the entire point of this thread.

Like Wade said, there is not an OEM fan that plugs directly in to your 2014 without extending the wiring. While I don't have the Dodge part# in front of me, if you just tell your local Dodge dealership that you need a fan from an 09-12 V6 Ram, they will tell you exactly which fan you need. It runs just under $400 through the dealership.

Having said all that, I think you are perfectly fine just removing your clutch fan and just running the AC condenser fan that you have now. With you being up north, I doubt you will have any issue with cooling. There are plenty of guys running their trucks this way down here in TX without any problems.
