Yeah, something doesn't seem right then. You want me to take more detailed pics, @Jwithing ?

I don't think more pics are going to help at this point unfortunately. The end links are simply too short... I guess I need to contact hellwig and ask wtf...

damn, that is just odd.
Looking at hellwigs site, the description contradicts the lift size used in the product name... We will see what they say

It looks like the endlinks that I have, which I assume came with the BDS lift, are slightly longer than the hellwig ones... So I'm probably just SOL and need to accept the angle. I could also try the skyjacker ones... But odds are that they're similar length...

Keep us posted on what Hellwig comes back with. What a PITA.

Yours looks just like my truck, here’s a pic of my BDS 6”, it’s not perfectly parallel and my truck drives just fine

Thanks for the pic. I bolted mine up with the BDS end links and had a lot of driving to do today. It's definitely making a difference, but I'm still curious to see what hellwig says and if any further benefits could be gained from finding longer end links to allow the bar to be parallel. With the BDS end links, they bow out at a slight angle. Are yours perpendicular to the ground?IMG_20180526_114234.jpg

I think the sway bar is designed to be flat/parallel at the diff cover then angle up on the ends. If you get longer ends then it will push it down on the ends making it kinda roll closer to the diff cover. With the bar flat on the concrete isn’t the ends off the ground upward?

Looking at the stock sway bar, the ends do seem to angle up, so perhaps it is as designed.

My response early yesterday from Hellwig when I asked about whether it was an issue with my 6 inch lift for the end links to be a little short of keeping the sway bar parallel:

"Send me your shipping info and I will help you out"

I asked for some elaboration and have not yet received a response... :banghead:

His does look upside down lol. I think I'm ok and mine rides fine as well, was just more curious at this point to see what hellwig had to say.

Did a little offroading in a field Sunday... Didn't see a ditch and got a little air... Nothing broke, so I consider it good :burnout:

Well... Just took a peak under the truck, and if anyone is curious, only having one endlink attached does still improve body roll... Not sure how long it's been detached lol. Kinda surprised their kit doesn't come with split washers.

Also, that joker from Hellwig still hasn't responded to my request for elaboration.
