This looks FANTASTIC!Oh, forgot to mention, I used about 3 ounces of the por-15
Nope, my only complaint Was not having enough time to do more. It went on really well. A spray can would be best to get inside some of the nooks and crannies better, but my purpose was mostly cosmetic, so the nooks and crannies don't quite matter as much to me. I think I mucked up the inside of my wheels a bit with the metal prep etcher, no biggie, but probably could have been more careful. I'd like to do the wheel hubs at some point as well, but will probably do that in conjunction with a brake/rotor replacement. Another note, I'd recommend being careful with a wire wheel on a drill, you'll gouge the metal and it will be noticeable if concerned.Lookin good! Any complaints about how it turned out

So I ended up having to order some yellow zinc plated bolts for my sway bar. Doesnt feel like the sway bar has made too much of a difference. This morning, it hit me... What about the hellwig sway bar. I measured my sway bar and it's 7/8ths diameter, which is the same as the hellwig 7883. I'm wondering if it's worth the money for me to swap out for the hellwig?
So worth it, you have 3 settings to choose from. It is a noticeable improvement in turns. So I ended up having to order some yellow zinc plated bolts for my sway bar. Thanks for the reassurance. Just pulled the trigger on it. I know i should have gone with moes, but went with Amazon for one day shipping. It'll be here Wednesday. Now I just have to decide if I want to try and find someone to powder coat it. Not to fond of the idea of slapping a gray bar on my purdy black ass end after all that work lol.
Not a bad idea. I'd have to mess with getting a sprayer though. Going to call around and see what I can come up with for powder coating.Maybe spray the sway bar with the POR 15.
Instructions for thinning it out to spray:
You should use only POR-15 Solvent for thinning. Keep lacquer thinner handy for clean-up. Do not thin POR-15 more than 5%
Let me know what you think about it. I had the ass end on the ground yesterday when installing my coil spacers and I was sitting there thinking it sure would've been nice to have a hellwig to slap back in there. I think the firmness would help the rear end a lot. Mine hops around on the highway with dips and curves. Prolly need new shocks too though. lolThanks for the reassurance.
