So I did an overhaul on all of the truck. All fluids were changed. Plugs wires etc. Ive noticed the MPGs have slowly been going down. Its gone from 16 mpg to 13. Not drastic, but enough to notice. Its also been sluggish lately. So the other day it was raining and I went to stop and the truck randomly died. It restarted fine, but it I got to thinking well I haven't replaced the fuel filter. I did some research and there is no fuel filter. How dumb. So has anyone had a pump go out on them? 157k miles 2012 5.7 1500. Any other suggestions as to what maybe causing it? Ive ran seafoam through the tank. Fuel injectors? Its never given me one issue before in the past.
