Possibly buying 2012 Cummins 2500, what to look for?

I am looking to buy a 2012 (give or take) Ram 2500 with the pre-DEF Cummins. I plan to keep it mostly stock for the time being, as it would still have a little time left on the powertrain warranty.

What type of issues are common with the 2012's? I know earlier Rams had front end issues, not sure if that went away by 2012 or not. Is there anything in particular I should be concerned about or should look closely at when buying a 2012?

I appreciate any and all help on the matter!

Make sure you take it for a good drive and don't baby it. You'll want to check the condition of the DPF, turbo, and tranny (thorough test drive should do this). There are some wear items but the axles (front and rear) are pretty stout, might need ball joints or something. Oh, check the rear pion seal, they have been know to leak, no big deal though.

I'm sure I'm missing a few things.................
