You will need to get the window switch, window modules, and a get a dealer to flash a sales code to your truck, which is nearly impossible to do, I have only heard of 1 member accomplishing this. You can also wire the motor to a 12v switch yourself and avoid the hassle. I have some powerfold sport mirrors sitting at my desk and I plan on doing this soon.

Hmm I may look into this more, I could wire it to the lock switch somehow I think with the alarm . Guess I need to figure out some wiring and system operations first . I am equipped with the puddle lights that aren't on the truck right now.

I wired them into my 2014 Express. I got two small momentary 6 pole micro switches. I mounted them in my driver side door panel I now have individual control over each mirror I use them almost every day they work great. Not sure about the 2011 but on the 2013 up trucks the wires you want are the blue and the yellow that are in the black plug. Since my truck was an Express the dealer could not install the LER sales code for the power fold option. The only really hard part is running the wiring through the factory wire looms into the drivers door.

Obviously don't forget that when you drive, your doors lock, lol

Now you've got me thinking. In case you're wondering what that smell is...

I did a write up on it when I did it. I will post the wiring and quick instructions when I can type it all out a little later on lunch.

Ok this is a picture of the switches I used and a wiring diagram to wire them for reverse polarity. Remeber to get the 6 pole momentary switch. You can fold the mirrors in or out as much as you want individually. I ran the yellow and blue wire from the passenger side mirror to the driver's side door as well as a positive and negative wire. I ran the positive from my battery to a fuse box I installed under my drivers seat. I use it to run my seats, mirrors and illuminated sunvisors. I installed the two switches side by side hooked up to each mirror separately. As I stated the hardest part is running the wiring into the drivers door through the factory harness.

That's a pretty slick spot to put them switches, but for me I want it to be automatic somehow when I park. Don't really need it other than that desired for a little extra protection from the ******* in parking lots
