You can do more than the greens at Rausch....trust meHowdy y'all,
New to the forum but I've had my 2014 Power Wagon for 3 years now. Awesome truck, still only got 54k on the dash. Haven't spent an money on aftermarket stuff. Although not the most ideal model for it, its mostly just a tow rig for my Jeep and other toys. Last June I towed my jeep from Connecticut to the Rubicon trail in South Lake Tahoe and stopped at Moab on the way back. Only trouble it gave me was a slow ride up to the Eisenhower tunnel in CO. Other than that it performed awesome towing out west and the truck has done everything I've asked of it. Maybe in a few years I'll take her through some of the green trails at Rausch Creek in PA...
I get you. To be fair, about 20 minutes after that picture I slid downhill into a tree and had to have a new bedside welded on lolI'm sure it would fair well on some of the blues but until I own a jeep that can tow my truck home 4 hours I dont know how crazy I'll get with it lol

Wait you were at PWIM?
Nice write up and pictures.Extend your breathers, folks. Did mine on Wednesday. You can see all five (yes, five) breathers that need to be extended: both diffs, transmission, transfer case, and evap system. Evap was a PITA because the factory vent isn’t a hose, it’s a plastic tube you have very little access to. I managed to cut it with a hack saw blade, slip a 5/8” hose over it with a hose clamp and run it to the engine bay, where I put the factory mushroom back on, again with a hose clamp. The other 4 breathers were a simple extension of the existing hose (except for the trans which was only 2” long so I just replaced the whole thing) using 3/8” fuel hose, brass barbed couplers and hose clamps for good measure. Others have gotten away without using clamps and just relying on the friction connection, I like the piece of mind that the redundancy of the hose clamps provide. I KNOW the system is leak free until the breathers. This also allowed me to pull a few inches of the new hose for the diffs down to account for my additional axle travel. I don’t want the hoses pulling tight and popping off offroad, that defeats the whole purpose. For those that ever plan on playing in water offroad, this mod is a must.

Awesome truck! Mine puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. Enjoy it!
