Yeah, thats unfortunate. Once I hit the lottery I will be getting the Dirt King Long Travel Kit. Until then, I'll keep grinding haha. Wishes don't do the dishes right?

There was prerunner ram off road concept awhile ago. I believe that is what Op is asking about.

Would love to see more prerunner builds, i don't have the dove now to build one, but little by little something can be done i've done mid travel setups before, and i'm hoping to do something similar with my RAM.

You hit the nail on the head. I believe it was 2011-12 when the "RamRunner" was being tested to go up against the Raptor. However, Chrysler backed out due to the high level of knowledge required to build the truck. Which is why I believe they ended up coming out with the Rebel. Either way, that test truck made by Dirt King is one bad mohican, IMO. I keep drooling over their pic....

I still love watching the video in the link below. Even though they gave the overall edge to the Raptor, seeing the RamRunner hit those high speed jumps (around the 9:00 minute mark) is awesome.


Going off memory, I think that Kore RamRunner suspension kit cost around 12-14k when they were selling it. I'm pretty sure it involved cut and weld install though. The Dirt King suspension kit they put on the Rebel TRX concept costs around 10k and is all bolt on. I wonder how those two kits would compare in head to head competition.

I've tried to find the front bumper they used on the RAM Runner but have had no luck. I really like the approach angle on it. I like the one that is similar from Addictive Desert Designs, but it doesn't have any front rated tow points for recovery other than a winch slot.

I would've probably bought that Kore bumper from the Ram Runner, if it were available. Since it isn't, I bought the ADD bumper earlier this year.

Yeah I reached out to them and got a one line answer that said they don't rate any recovery or tow points on their bumper.

No, the specific bumper that I have (p/n F503352480103) doesn't.
