Problems wtih RA2

Have a 2015 and have two issues. One, when the truck was about a year old, the system stopped reading and alerting me of my texts. I called uconnect and they said the phone (galaxy s6) was likely the problem but could not tell me what the problem was. Two years later, same phone, RA2 still does not read/alert me of texts.

Two, people have a very hard time hearing me via bluetooth when the truck is moving at speed above about 45. I've checked all the phone settings I can find, and called uconnect, but nothing helps. The RA2 needs a mic gain adjustment like my cheap Clarion system had 8 years ago in my old truck - simple.

Any suggestions?

I and others with Samsung phones have found that turning on the "Display Notifications on Lock Screen" setting can help. I have the same radio (2014 version), an S5 phone (Verizon) and without that setting it does not work at all. With it on, it works but I still have issues. It will work for a day or so, then it will stop and I have to remove and re-link it to get it to work again. I've given up at this point as neither FCA nor Samsung appear to have any desire to resolve the issue. It does seem to be, at least in part, related to allowing ANYTHING else to connect to the phone via Bluetooth, even when not connected to the truck. If you do, the truck looses the text reading ability.

Note: The phone call/contacts system works all of the time, this issue is only with the text msg functions.

I sent them one on the 15th as well on this. They replied with a request for more info, which I gave them and I haven't heard a word since. Apparently RAM doesn't care all that much.
