Projector headlights

Need some opinions here. My Tradesman has the low end headlamps in it and of course, they suck. I've been reading various posts and have decided that since my truck is under warranty I should probably keep at least factory parts on it or find brighter bulbs that can easily be put back to stock in a pinch.
I'm thinking I could score some projectors at my local pick a part junk yard. Assuming I can find a good clean set, would it be a big enough difference to be worth the effort?

Buy cheap eBay replacements. Heat them up and open them. Swap in the new morimoto 7.0 projectors and a 50w kit with 4500-5500k bulbs and be amazed.

Should be less than 300$ for it all if u get a cheaper HId kit.

That way u can swap the OE headlights if u need to and sell the upgraded ones.

My truck has the projector s any they are horrible. Been looking haven't really found a good option for them yet. Have been limited not driving too much at night as I have almost hit 2 deer because they are so dim.

I just picked up a pair of quad headlights from Craigslist for 20 bucks. Almost new too.... Score!!
