Never used one but apparently they've slammed the door on custom tuning. It won't be happening so if Ur headed down that road for custom tuning don't go that route.

Agreed I thought about getting one and as soon as I found out no custom tuning instant no vote. And I've heard they have some issues.

Can’t say what it would be like on the 5th gens, but had one on my 2017. I liked it. I would keep it on the tow setting with MDS off. Occasionally it would feel like it was surging because the MDS doesn’t fully shut off. The Pulsar shuts it off when the PCM turns it back on. They are constantly working against each other. It was only noticeable around 35mph while the engine was under no load.

The power difference was substantially noticeable, even on the tow setting....
