Pushing the boundaries on wheel size?

so i recently picked up a new 2019 bighorn. Knowing my wheel setup from my previous 2017 express (20x10 -24 with 35x12.5 federal couragias MT) i was looking to go a little wider. With that being said, i was looking at 20x12 -44 with 33x12.5 (going to go with an AT vs MT just unsure of tire) with a leveling kit.

Previous truck only rubbed under full lock. Backspace dimensions show that the 20x12 wheels will only be about 1/4 deeper inside the wells.

Bad idea or am i looking at the same issue with my last truck of only rubbing under full lock? Has anyone ran a similar setup on their 2019? Any help is appreciated, thanks

i too am looking at new tires and possibly wheels, would love insight on the sizes. I will probably keep the 20 inch wheels but looking to go bigger tires. are 305/55r20 too big?

All depends on wheels width and offset. Most guys I’ve seen with the new 2019 are running close to stock widths and offsets with only slightly larger tires. Nothing to extreme yet which is why i asked. Plenty of 4th gen guys running larger offsets and widths with minimal rubbing or modification.
