I've been curious about what I could get for my 2018 PW, so I took it to Carmax this afternoon. The offer is very tempting. They offered me $49,100. I was shocked it was so high. Is the shortage of used trucks driving these prices? I love the PW, but am thinking seriously of selling. Just thinking.

that is a generous offer. I have a 2020 PW and that is only $900 less than I paid for mine new in August of 2020.

I looked up the KBB value of my truck just yesterday.. i was amazed at how much they valued it!!

Used vehicle prices are through the roof right now...much like housing. Just remember, its an easy/great time to sell (vehicle or house), but you better have a plan on what you are gonna buy to replace, cause they aint much out there for grabs!

My wife traded her 17 big horn 1500 in after two years of driving. Bought it with 32k sold with 74k miles and they bought it for more than we paid for it lol. She’s in a beater till prices drop and we get into a Cummins.

Yeah. It is however not a great time to buy. Some people are going to be very upside down on these trucks in a year or two

Buying right now is not ideal. My dad way over paid for a higher mile 13 ecoboost. There is absolutely nothing unless you want something with a salvaged title.

I HAD to take this offer, it was within $8,000 of my original purchase price! I'll be contented with my old car for a while (and a fat bank account).

Yeah mine is worth almost ten grand more than I paid 17 months ago. I can get a hell of a deal for being a firefighter through a dealer near me so I might end up ordering a new one. Should end up close to what I owe on mine now and it'll be brand new.

Reading all these posts about people selling/trading their trucks right now is making my mind up on what to do with my truck. I'll be out of the country for two years anyway.
