Radio conversion

Hello everyone. I’ve got a 2012 ram 1500 longhorn edition and I was trying to find some information on converting the dash to a 2013 longhorn radio but couldn’t find anything. Has anyone done this? What all is involved? Will the wiring work with the ac controls or is this a near impossible mod?

If you are planning on trying to run the 8.4 radio or HVAC controls for the 2013 in your 2012 it will not work. The trucks communicate on a different system and the wiring is also totally different
