Radio help

My 2013 base model 3.0 radio just went wonky on me. Music plays but the screen is black and I can't change stations or songs or source or anything

happened twice to me and next time I fired the truck up all was good. have you had the radio update done?

It seems Chrysler/Dodge made a serious mistake buying those JUNK Unconnect radios. I've had a brand new 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie radio do the same off and on. Dodge service refused to do anything cause it never acted wrong when I took it in. It was doing all kinds of funky things, plus the hard drive was only 20GB when it was supposed to be 40GB. I had to threaten to sue till they finally replaced it. I now have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express (yes, downsized) and the 5.0 went bad within 3 weeks owning. Wouldn't recognize Sirrius subscription and not holding some settings. Dodge replaced it. Still acts up. Sheer JUNK! I am saving up and replacing it with a 3rd party head unit Plug n play.
