My 2017 bighorn has been working great till today.
Up until today the radio and everything else that shows on the lcd screen worked. Today I go on an errand and the screen is black and nothing shows on it. I took neg battery post off for 10 minutes and second attempt was hold volume and channel select in at same time for 10-20 seconds and nothing. Any ideas?

DM us with your VIN. We'd like to check for potential TSB's associated with your vehicle.

I’m kinda falling behind. No I haven’t. I took it to where I have my work done I can’t do myself. As luck would have it he is friends with a local college with an automotive courses. He got a hold of him and they are actually coming to his garage and using it as a classroom teaching opportunity on electrical issues. I don’t know how long they stay when they do come, 3-4 times I believe and are coming back on Monday, the 22nd they are coming back again to look at it more closely. I talked to my mechanic and they are going to look at a couple other things they think it mite be. All fuses connected to the radio are all good but still no power to it. Last resort is taking it ,and I hope they can find the cause, to the dealer. Asitis he isn’t charging me until they find the cause and parts and labor to fix it.

I went to check on how my truck was coming and my mechanic is lost as to what is wrong. Nothing he tried would correct the problem. He even switched the original radio back in and nothing. He posed the question, what are chances both radios are bad.
Is their anywhere I can have them checked to see if they are good or not?

Well I have an appointment to take my truck to a dealer to get a diagnostic check on the radio. I’m hoping for the best that it is the radio and can be fixed. Would be cheaper than starting over again having a dealer look everything over. .

Just got back from having radio checked out. Turns out the original radio had something burned out in side the radio and kept blowing the radio fuse. Took it out, Putin new fuse and hooked up my replacement radio and it snapped right on. Entered the theft code and itis on and running. Now I have to get ahold of Sirius radio and get new old radio transferred to replacement radio.
