Radio upgrade question

I’m thinking about swapping out my own 5” radio for an own 8.4 non-navigation unit.

My question is, is this a plug and play situation??

I know I have to get the larger radio bezel.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

WOW....I had no idea of what all is involved. Guess I'll keep the lil' cheapy radio for now. Heck, it might be easier to trade trucks for one with the 8.8 radio....hahaha

I replaced my '16 8.4 with aftermarket for Carplay and after seeing what the '18 guys are dealing with on the uConnect updates I'd gladly go that route again.
