I've used Rain-x spray/polish off/on for nearly 30yrs. It's great stuff. Obviously works best when you keep up on it. I've been using their orange w/s washer fluid on/off for years too. Never had the washer fluid tank level sensor issues some say it causes. If I do, I'll pull out the sensor and clean it.

Most of the sensors that set off the "low w/s washer fluid level" light these days are basically a set of probes that have to come in contact with the fluid to sense level. People have had issues with a film build-up in the tanks and on the sensors that causes issues, seemingly from using Rain-x fluid.

My wife bought a gallon and put it in her van. WORST thing she did. Smeared the windshield so bad I had to drive 30 min to where see was take the reservoir out dump that **** out rinse it out with the good ole blue stuff and put it all back together. 35 min no gloves on sucks.

I have used RainX since the early 80's...Jut bought a fresh bottle. I have a 16 Laramie Limited with Auto Wipers...I will just disable the Auto Wiper function...Thanks for the heads up on that...

I have used Spray On Rain Ex before but not yet on my RAM. A couple years ago I did use the Rain Rx Washer fluid and it did mess up the level sensor so went back to the blue stuff ! I will try yje spray on again when the temps get above freezing !

Rainx , when fresh, beads off the glass so well i dont hardly use the wipers once up to speed. i use it on all the windows and the mirrors

Yeah, it is interesting to hear some having issues with it. I've never bothered with the Rainex WW fluid. I apply the Rainex every time I wash one of our vehicles, so I feel like I'm covered. I know that's overkill since I wash them pretty often, but I feel like it's just a good habit.
